CRM Capture: from public pages to reviewed CRM records

A browser-based capture workflow that extracts company and contact data, asks for review, then syncs to HubSpot. The extension currently needs repair before a public demo.

Source and architecture exist. The public product is not finished.

Problem

CRM records are assembled manually from job boards, company websites and contact pages. Context is lost and duplicates appear.

Users

Sales, recruiting and CRM operations teams in German-speaking SMEs.

Current solution

A Chrome extension and backend: extract entities from the active page, normalise them, let the user review, then create or reuse HubSpot companies, contacts and deals.

Workflow

A content script reads the page. A backend validates and checks HubSpot for duplicates. The user chooses whether to reuse or create records. Tokens stay on the server. Real customer CRM data is not used in public evidence.

  1. 01

Open a public company or job page

  2. 02

Extract company, role and contact candidates

  3. 03

    Review and resolve duplicates

  4. 04

    Write approved objects to HubSpot

Proposed workflow · Not a live product screenshot

Capture with a human checkpoint

Source page

Job board or company contact page in the browser.

Extract

Company, contact and role candidates, including JSON-LD where present.

Review

User confirms or rejects entities and duplicate matches.

CRM write

Approved objects sync to HubSpot. Secrets never sit in the page.

What exists today

Architecture, company-scanner documentation and tests exist. The current extension build is not presented as a working public demo.

Webbylon already designs HubSpot-oriented capture with human review rather than silent automation.

Next milestone

A reliable extension build, a synthetic demo portal, and permission-safe screenshots.

A synthetic, reviewable capture demo with no production HubSpot customer data.

No public production URL.

Evidence

  • Job-sidebar and company-scanner documentation and tests in the product tree
  • Portfolio record previously noted that the current extension build needs repair

Commercial opportunity

Closest software expression of CRM cleanup and pipeline work. No product revenue is claimed.

Reusable capabilities

  • Page extraction with review
  • HubSpot object create/reuse
  • Server-side token handling

Current limitations

  • Not a live product
  • Public demo is not offered until the build is reliable
  • Must stay on synthetic data

What this shows about Webbylon

The same information-to-structure thesis, applied to sales records instead of learning content.

Investment relevance

A productisable wedge next to implementation work: capture quality as a product, not only a consulting sprint.

Do not expose real HubSpot, CV or applicant data.

Source and architecture exist. The public product is not finished.

Implementation note

  • Chrome extension plus backend HubSpot services
